We realise that things happen outwith your control which can prevent you from making your appointment or informing us of this however, where at all possible, could you please let us know if this is the case.
You can inform us by calling or by replying CANCEL to the text message reminders which are sent out to patients who have opted in to this service.

Practice Boundary Change
As of 1st December 2013 our practice boundary has been adjusted to include PA7 postcodes only. Patients registered at Bishopton Medical Practice currently living within the PA8 and PA4 postcode areas will be kept on the list at their current address. However anyone moving to a new address within PA8 and PA4 will be required to register at a more local practice. This applies whether it is people moving into the area or who are currently patients of Bishopton Medical Practice.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Monday Evening Surgery
We are pleased to inform you that our Advanced Nurse Practitioner will now be working during our Monday evening surgery, alongside our GP's. She will be available for reviews, smears etc.
There will be NO BLOODS or BLOOD PRESSURE done at this time. These tests will be performed during normal surgery hours by our Phlebotomist or Health Care Assistant as appropriate.
Updated House call protocol
House calls are only available for patients who are housebound or too unwell to attend the surgery.
Please call before 10.30am if a house call is required. If you call after 10.30am you may need to be seen the following day, except in the case of an emergency.
Please be prepared to give staff as much information as possible to enable the Dr to prioritise the list and also bear in mind that several patients can be seen in the surgery in the time it takes to do 1 house call, so, if you are able to come to the surgery, please try to do so.
