Text Reminder Service

mobile phone

The surgery provides a text reminder service for appointments.  If you do not require the appointment any more, simply text back 'CANCEL' to the number provided. You must give 3 hours notice prior to your appointment time.

Please note this service is only applicable to patient's aged 15 years and over.

If multiple family members  use the same mobile number this may cause confusion over appointments etc.

With the new General Data Protection Regulation Act (GDPR) that has come into force, on the 25th May 2018, we will require your consent if you wish to receive text messages for appointments, notices (public holidays, new services) and healthcare updates.

If you wish to register for the messaging service please fill out the consent form.

If at any point you change your mind and do wish to receive any further reminders simply call the practice or inform a member of the reception team.

Please note that SMS text messaging is an automated service and we cannot guarantee that you will always receive a text message as a reminder of your appointment.  Please do not rely on this service as your only way of remembering an appointment.
