Friday Appointment changes

We are changing how our appointment system operates on a Friday. For more information on this, please click the "Appointments" tab at the top of the page and select "Friday appointment changes".


Vaccine update 20/02/20

 Vaccines are still available for Adult Flu and shingles for those who are eligible.

Practice Manager

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Our team of reception staff will assist you in making routine appointments to see your doctor, ensure that requests for emergency appointments are appropriately handled, process repeat prescription requests and offer help and assistance at all times. The receptionists are fully trained and have a challenging job to do. Your patience is appreciated. To assist them, please let them know when you change your address, name or telephone number. The workload of our secretarial and administrative staff includes helping with, typing referral letters to hospitals, processing insurance reports, producing practice documentation, administering screening systems (ie cervical smears, diabetic clinics etc) and entering medical information onto the computer system. It is a legal requirement that confidentiality of patients' records is maintained at the highest level by all staff.
